Online Orientation Module 3

Dear student,

We’re about a month away from welcoming you to Orientation and the ¾«¶«AV campus! The Orientation team is gearing up and excited to offer various opportunities for you to start building community here.

We will publish the Orientation week schedule details (dates, times, and locations) on the  in early August, so stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, you can read  we have planned for you.

Online Orientation, Module 3

We are happy to share the . This module includes information about campus resources and a preview of how our Orientation and Wayfinding Leaders (OWLs) will support your transition to ¾«¶«AV.

Please be sure to complete all three online Orientation modules by August 24 at the latest. Here are some tips for viewing the online materials:

• Access , , and  of online Orientation. 

• Sign in with your ¾«¶«AV username and password.

• It will take 1 to 1.5 hours to complete Module 3. You do not have to complete it in one sitting, as the platform will save your place.

• Once you complete a section, you can return to that section to review the material. The materials will remain available to you as a reference for the remainder of the academic year.

• A red “Next” button on the bottom right indicates when you can advance to the next slide.

Move-in

Incoming students will move in on Monday, August 24, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. PT. Students who are participating in International Student Orientation or the Peer Mentor Program will move in earlier, on August 21. You can  until August 1.

You will receive an email in mid-August with move-in details and check-in instructions. More information about the move-in process can be found on the .

Important Survey to Complete

Recently, incoming first-year students received the Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement, which gives us critical information about who you are as a ¾«¶«AV community member. Please be sure to fill out that survey to help us gather this important data.

• August 18: SOLAR opens at 9 a.m. PT (register for remaining courses for fall and spring)

    Your Adviser may or may not differ from your Registration Coach. You will review your course selection and begin mapping out your four-year plan with your Adviser.
