Mission and History

The mission of Information Technology is to support students, faculty, and staff in their use of information technology and to provide technological resources that:

• enhance opportunities for learning and scholarship;

• enable members of the community to undertake teaching, learning, research, and administrative tasks in a comfortable, efficient, secure, and cost-effective manner;

• expedite communication among members of the ¾«¶«AV community and between ¾«¶«AV and other communities.
