Subject: Care and Concern for Those Impacted by L.A. Fires

Dear ¾«¶«AV Community,

I have been watching the news coverage of the devastating Los Angeles fires with an aching heart. Many of us in the ¾«¶«AV community are from this area, Cheryl and I included. I know those in the area are following evacuation orders to stay safe while worrying about losing homes to these fast-moving fires through densely populated areas.

If you have been impacted by these fires, ¾«¶«AV is here to support you as you navigate fear and loss. Vice President for Student Life Karnell McConnell-Black and his team are reaching out directly to the about 300 ¾«¶«AV students who live in Southern California to share resources and support as needed, including returning to ¾«¶«AV earlier than anticipated.
